Once you arrive, you won’t want to do anything but relax and take in the beauty of your surroundings. Built in 2020, this eco-villa in the heart of the rice fields is more than just a rental—it's a home away from home. Located just 15 minutes outside of Ubud, in the authentic Balinese village of Singakerta, you'll enjoy breathtaking 180-degree rice field views in your own private, beautifully designed space. Thoughtfully built with sustainability in mind, the villa is crafted from all-natural materials and furnished with eco-friendly decor. This serene sanctuary invites deep relaxation and renewal, offering an uplifting and tranquil atmosphere.

The Space

The villa features an open-plan living area, complete with a comfortable couch that can also be used as an additional bed (no mosquito net). The open-plan kitchen includes a dining table with seating for up to six, a blender, an extra-large fridge, and two electric hobs (please note there is no oven).

The main bathroom is equipped with one toilet, two washbasins, and a beautiful outdoor shower.

There are two spacious bedrooms in the main villa, each with queen beds, stunning rice field views, mosquito nets, and ceiling fans. In addition, we have a new eco-friendly bamboo house in the garden, offering a cozy double bedroom with a private bathroom and its own fridge.

The villa features a tranquil koi pond with a water feature at its center, adding to the peaceful ambiance. The garden is filled with lush frangipani and fruit trees, offering shaded areas for relaxation, as well as sunny spots for those who prefer to soak up the warmth. The balcony provides the perfect space for yoga or simply enjoying the serene surroundings.

For those who need to stay connected, we provide strong WiFi throughout the villa and garden. There is parking available for scooters.

For your peace of mind, all bedrooms are lockable, and there is a wall safe in one room for your valuables. The open-plan living areas allow for natural ventilation, keeping the space cool and airy.

Things to Note

As the villa is located in the rice fields, there are mosquitoes, but only at dusk.

Currently, there is no construction in the vicinity that disrupts the tranquillity.

At night, you will experience the natural symphony of geckos, frogs, and crickets. In the mornings, the local cockerels announce the sunrise, often accompanied by the neighborhood dogs. During the day, you'll enjoy peaceful surroundings filled with birdsong and the sight of dragonflies and butterflies.

Towels and bed linens are provided and will be changed once a week. If you’d like to compost your food waste, we can provide a container to support sustainable waste disposal.

The villa does not have a pool to minimize our use of chemicals, but you are welcome to use the pool at a nearby hotel, just across the rice fields, for a small fee of approximately $5.

Guest Access

Singakerta is conveniently located 15 minutes by scooter from Ubud town center, offering easy access to authentic Balinese culture while avoiding the busy tourist crowds. Supermarkets and local shops, including Pepito and the 24-hour Cocomart, are within close reach.

Please note that while there is parking for scooters, there is no dedicated car parking. However, cars can pull up to the gate for drop-off. If needed, our trusted and friendly drivers are available to assist with transportation.

Other Things to Note

You will be staying in a local Balinese community, so we kindly ask you to respect our neighbors and their customs.

Vira and Wayan, our dedicated team members, are available to assist you with anything you may need during your stay, from villa maintenance to transportation arrangements. Twice weekly cleaning is included.
